JAG(UK) officially launched their new website at the GeoPlace Exemplar awards event held in Manchester on the 29th April 2014. The launch was part of an afternoon of discussions JAG(UK) held with members where a variety of topics were discussed, Permits, Performance. Inspections and of course the website itself. Also as part of the discussions JAG(UK) mapped out topics/areas for development for the industry these being
1. Permit Deregulation
2. SROH and the potential for a review
3. HAUC England and new HAUC Constitution.
Roger Culpin Chair JAG(UK) said, "The launch of the website is the beginning of a new era in terms of JAG(UK) and how we communicate with all members. This represents a great opportunity for all members to link with the industry and give information, deal with issues by asking questions on the new JAG(UK) Forum and find out about best practice across the UK". Roger also thanked GeoPlace for "their work in developing the website, further evidence of the positives emerging since the step taken to work with GeoPlace, which has provided some real benefits for all authorities."
